Ansonia police are investigating a shooting that killed a 25-year-old man.
Two men were arguing at Hill Street and Root Avenue outside a market at about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday when one man pulled a gun and shot the other in the face, police said.
Police responding to a 911 call reporting shots fired found the Daryl Rhys Venson of Ansonia in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Venson was brought to Griffin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they have no motive and no information on a suspect.
