1 Killed in Hartford Crash

One person was killed in a crash on Sigourney Street in Hartford early Thursday morning and another person is in critical condition.

Police responded to 290 Sigourney St. at 5:29 a.m. and found two people trapped inside the car, police said.

The Hartford Fire Department extricated the two people and an ambulance brought them to the hospital.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Police said they are in the process of identifying both people.
