West Hartford police have a man custody who is supsected of killing his ex-girlfriend.
Suzete Berrincha, 22, was killed at her parents' home on Westphal Street, police said.
A 911 call alerted police to some type fight at the home around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
When officers arrived, they found Berrincha suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to police. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police began a sweep of the neighborhood, and found Berrincha's ex-boyfriend, David Hugh Grant, 25, hiding in a garage nearby. They took Grant into custody, and charged him with murder.
Grant is being held on $2 million bond.
