19-Year-Old Charged in Southington Burglaries

Jordan Uliasz, 19, of Southington, has been arrested, suspected in several burglaries in the Curtiss Street area.

Southington Police have arrested a 19-year-old boy suspected of burglarizing homes in the middle of the night.

Jordan Uliasz, 19, of 105 Juniper Road, is suspcted in a rash of burglaries in the Curtiss Street area while families were asleep, authorities said.

Police said investigators were able to link Uliasz to the burglaries from forensic evidence they found from one of the crimes.

He was charged with first-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, home invasion and criminal mischief. His bail is set for $500,000.

Uliasz is expected to appear in Superior Court on Friday.

The investigation is still ongoing and police expect additional arrests.
