2 Arrested After Police Chase on I-95 Between Darien and Greenwich

State police have arrested two people and seized cocaine after a police pursuit on Interstate 95 from Darien to Greenwich on Wednesday. 

Police noticed a Chevrolet Sonic traveling too closely behind another vehicle near exit 10 of I-95 South in Darien around 1:45 p.m. , so they stopped it. 

However, the driver took off and led police on a chase until getting off the highway at exit 2 and crashing, police said. 

After the crash, police took Antonio Alexander Freeland, 26, of Stamford, and Michael Leonard Lundy, 41, of Stamford, into custody. 

During the investigation, police found 370 grams of cocaine and seized it, according to a news release. 

Freeland was charged with reckless driving in a construction zone, illegal sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance interfering with an officer, first-degree reckless endangerment and destruction of property. Bond was set at $350,000.

Lundy was charged with illegal sale of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics. Bond was set at $250,000. Both were held.
