Two people were injured in a crash on Torringford Street in Torrington early this morning.
A 33-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were in the car when it crashed near Hayden Hill Road.
The man had to be extricated and Lifestar took him to a hospital.
His injuries are serious, but not life-threatening, officials said.
The female sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and the road was closed as police responded.
