A car and a Thomaston school bus were involved in a crash on Watertown Road in Thomaston and two people were transported from the scene.
Thomaston Superintendent Francine Coss sent the following statement to parents and staff regarding the crash:
"Bus number 81 carrying students from Thomaston High School has been involved in a minor accident. There are four (4) students on the bus. Those parents will be contacted directly by administration. A substitute bus will be used to pickup Black Rock and Center School students who ride Bus 81," Coss said.
The crash happened at the Waterbury Road intersection.
The road was closed, but the scene was clearing as of 3:50 pm.
