Man Arrested for Having Loaded Gun at Bradley Airport

TSA agents at Bradley found a BB gun in luggage on Tuesday, according to state police.

A Meriden man is facing serious charges after TSA officers found him with a loaded gun at Bradley International Airport.

According to state police, Gary Vernon, 61, was arrested last Friday when he tried to get a loaded .380 caliber handgun through a security check point.

Vernon was arrested and charged with circumventing airport security.

He was released on a $500.00 bond and is expected to appear in court on April 10th.
