3 East Hartford Residents Arrested in Heroin Bust

Three East Hartford residents are facing charges following a drug bust in Glastonbury.

Police said a drug dealer and two others were arrested around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday during an undercover drug bust operation outside the Burger King on Main Street in Glastonbury.

Roberto Colon, 36, who has been selling heroin under the name of “Pete,” was arrested this afternoon, along with 44-year-old Nancy Diaz, who was driving Colon, and 47-year-old Rosa Jara, according to police. All three are East Hartford residents.

During the bust, police seized 1.4 grams of heroin and a 2005 Chevy Tahoe.

Colon was charged with the sale and possession of heroin and held on a $200,000 bond. Colon was also charged with the sale and possession of heroin. Her bond was set at $10,000. Jara was charged with interfering with police and her bond was set at $1,000.
