Three people were injured in a crash in Bridgeport around 11 p.m. on Thursday

The vehicle hit a utility pole near Railroad and Howard avenues and snapped the pole.

One man was able to get himself free, but firefighters had to rescue two other people who were trapped inside the vehicle.

The people in the car were taken to a local hospital to be evaluated. They were wearing seatbelts, officials said.
