A total of 70 people are facing charges stemming from a two-week-long police operation in West Haven, authorities said.
According to police, Operation R.A.I.D. served up 70 arrest warrants on assault, narcotics, domestic violence, larceny and failure to appear charges.
West Haven police, adult probation officers and statewide Fugitives Task Force marshals worked together to make the arrests.
Police said Operation R.A.I.D. identified suspects in pending cases, then "removed these individuals from the street and entered them into the judicial process."
