Last month, police have issued a Silver Alert for a 71-year-old New Haven man who has been missing since the end of February. It turns out that he was not missing.
Federal marshals picked Gonzalee Henderson up for an outstanding warrant from the 1970s and he was incarcerated, according to authorities.
On March 14, a friend reported him missing and said he'd actually last been seen on Feb. 28.
Police do not know what Henderson was wearing on that day.
Police said they checked the appropriate database to see if Henderson was incarcerated before they issued the Silver Alert, but the arrest info hadn’t caught up with the database until recently.
New Haven police said there was no local connection.
