Hartford police have safely located a 7-month-old baby and a 7-year-old after their mother took them from Department of Children and Families custody in Hartford on Tuesday, Hartford police said.
Police initially said Amber Alerts were going to be issued after the mother took the two children from DCF custody at 250 Hamilton Street in Hartford, but they have since said the children were located and are safe. No alert ended up being issued.
There is no word on whether there will be any charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
