Snowy Start to Spring Break

A coating to an inch for parts of Connecticut.

Students in several Connecticut towns are on spring break, but mother nature still thinks it's winter and snow has been falling for hours.

Fortunately, we're not expecting the snow to accumulate on the roadways as surface temperatures are at or above freezing.

Hill towns could see a quick coating to an inch accumulate on the grassy surfaces.

There is a warming trend by the latter part of the workweek.

High temperatures on Friday will surge to near 70 with temperatures on Saturday expected to reach the mid to upper 70s.
