Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumental is investigating two charities run by the man who has been raising money for Mandi Schwartz, a Yale hockey player with leukemia.

According to Blumenthal's office, Tedd Collins IV, who founded the leukemia-related charities, has not notified them of his fundraising activities, which is required by law.

Collins is also part of a fraud investigation being conducted by federal prosecutors in Kentucky.

Schwartz's family says they were not aware of Collin's legal history.
