Few things can mar the hopeful excitement that comes with a trip to a casino like gunshots.
Just ask the 46 people who were on a bus on Interstate 95 in North Stonington, heading to Foxwoods around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Shots came from the woods near the highway and broke a bus window, Connecticut state police said.
The shots came from a BB gun, cops say, and fortunately, no one was hurt.
The driver pulled over on the Exit 91 and troopers began the hunt for the shooters, with the help of some dogs, the Hartford Courant reports.
Police found three teens -- two 13-year-olds and one 14-year-old – who gave written confessions, police said.
They were charged them with second-degree reckless endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief and unlawful discharge of a firearm, released to their parents and are due to appear in juvenile court March 12.
