Babysitter Accused of Sex With 2nd Teen

Loni Bouchard has been charged again in Southington.

A Clinton babysitter accused of a sexual relationship with a teenage boy has been arrested again, accused of a prior sexual encounter with a different teenage boy.

Southington police first charged Loni Bouchard, 20, with the second-degree sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy and risk of injury to a minor on July 29 for an alleged incident on Feb. 1, according to court documents.

The Hartford Courant reported that Bouchard professed her love for the boy in journal entries from April:
"I have finally found the guy who treats me right and makes me so happy and I can't be with him because the law says so?" she wrote in April, the Courant reports. "I don't care about the law, I just want to be with him and not have to hide it. How can the law tell us who to fall for, who to like and who to love and especially who to date? I thought America was a free country."

On July 12, Clinton police arrested Bouchard and said she had a sexual encounter with the boy while she was babysitting him there in January.

Bouchard was charged with second-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child and illegal purchase of liquor. Her mother, Kimmy Bouchard, was also arrested, accused of giving her daughter and the boy marijuana and liquor. The incident date on court documents is the same date Loni is accused of having a sexual encounter with the teen.

The second arrest involves a different 14-year-old boy, Southington police said, and the alleged incident happened in November 2010.

Southington police arrested her at 7:30 a.m. on Monday and charged her with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. The warrant for the arrest has been sealed.

She is due in court on Monday.
