You trust babysitters enough to bring them into your home -- watching your most precious family members and the stuff in your home.

But one New Milford babysitter apparently broke a family’s trust.

Karin Doyle, 18, is accused of stealing video equipment and games from a home where she was sitting last December.

The News Times says the arrest stems from an accusation by the family a year ago.

Doyle was picked up on a warrant this week. She’s charged with fourth-degree larceny and second-degree making a false statement to police.

She's due in court on November 23.
