Bank at Branford Stop & Shop Robbed

A man and a woman robbed the bank inside the Stop & Shop in Branford on Thursday afternoon. Police released this photo.
Branford police are looking for the man and woman who robbed the People’s Bank branch inside Stop & Shop at 22 Leetes Island Road just before 2 p.m.
The man is described as a white male, about 25 to 40 years old, 6-feet tall, with short hair and a chin-strap style beard.
He was wearing a baseball cap, a long-sleeved brown and white flannel button-down shirt and a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
The woman was 20 to 30 years old and was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and/or jacket with red on the rear and sleeves and eye glasses.
After leaving the bank, they left the area on East Industrial Road in possibly a dark colored, full-size pick-up truck with a load muffler and ladder rack.
