Bear Sighting on I-91

Another bear sighting in Connecticut.

@niveknaelo from Waterbury took this picture of a black bear walking in the median alongside I-91 South in Middletown Sunday afternoon.

A black bear was spotted Sunday afternoon alongside I-91 South between exits 20 and 21 in Middletown, according to state police.

One of our twitter followers pulled over the side of the road and snapped a photo of the big guy.

Police said the bear was spotted around 3:00 p.m.

Eventually the bear wandered off and back into the woods.
