Bloomfield High Students Were Behind School Vandalism: Police

Police said four Bloomfield High School students are responsible for graffiti found on school property at Weaver High School and Windsor High School.

Police in Hartford, Bloomfield and Windsor have been investigating graffiti that appeared on the schools’ property in late April and early May.

Last week, that investigation ended and police said they received help identifying the suspects from administrators of Bloomfield High School and the Bloomfield athletic director’s department.

The vandalism was not connected to any school sports team or any other issue between school communities, according to police, who chalked the actions up to teens making poor decisions.

All four students accepted responsibility for their actions, according to police.

They are dealing with consequences at school and “police enforcement action.”

The names of the teens have not been released because of their age.
