The body of a middle aged-man was found in Elm Ridge Park in Rocky Hill Tuesday.
A man walking his dog called police after finding the body around 4 p.m. in an area behind the Veterans Memorial Amphitheater. The body had been there for some time, police said.
Police called the incident suspicious, but said there is no reason to believe anyone at the park should be concerned for their safety.
The Office of the Chief Medial Examiner has removed the body from the scene and will perform an autopsy to determine the man's identity and the cause of death.
