An American Airlines flight scheduled to leave Boston for Miami was grounded Wednesday after a bomb threat was found on the wall of an airplane bathroom.

A flight attendant found the note on a bathroom wall during a pre-board check before the flight was to leave Boston for Miami.  The note stated there was a bomb onboard.

The flight had come in from Dallas and arrived at 1:45 p.m., the Associated Press reported.

Officials searched  the plane and luggage onboard and said they found no bomb. Passengers scheduled for that flight were transferred to another plane.
