A 4-year-old boy was killed while he was out for a walk with his babysitter and was struck by an SUV in front of his Waterbury home.
Anthony Martorelli was walking with the 15-year-old sitter when he broke free from her and ran into traffic on Brookfield Road, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.
An off-duty EMT tried to revive the boy before medics arrived. Martorelli was pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital.
