A Bridgeport man was shot early Tuesday morning near Central Avenue and Williston Street in the city.
Police identified Kamora King, 31, as the victim. His wife called 911 when he returned to his home on Beardsley Street at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police responded and an ambulance transported King to Bridgeport Hospital.
Detectives identified the shooting location and continue to investigate the incident.
