Burglar Smashed Drive-Through Window of Rocky Hill Dunkin' Donuts

A man smashed a drive-through window at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Rocky Hill, climbed into the store and stole a drawer from the cash register and police are trying to identify the person.

Police responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 1969 Silas Deane Highway just after 10 p.m. on Monday to investigate the burglary.

They said the driver got out of the car at the drive up window, climbed in through the broken window, destroyed the cash register, took the cash drawer and tossed it out the window before climbing back outside and fleeing.

Store clerks reported seeing a gun in the hand of the passenger of the vehicle, but police said this hasn’t been confirmed.

The burglar and passenger left in a white four-door sedan.
