Buses Replace Train Service on Danbury Line During Work on Metro-North

    Buses will run along the Danbury branch of Metro-North in lieu of trains due to work at grade crossings.

    The buses will replace the train service at stops including Danbury, Bethel, Redding, Branchville, Cannondale, Wilton, Merritt and South Northwalk from Saturday through the last train scheduled on Sunday, as well as from Saturday, Aug. 23 through the last train on Sunday, Aug. 24, according to an alert from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
