Zermina Velic, of Hartford, and Belma Ahmetovic, of Wethersfield, are heading to the White House on Tuesday.
The two 17-year-old students are scheduled to meet President Barack Obama after winning second place in a national contest for young entrepreneurs.
The students are natives of Bosnia and seniors at the Sport and Medical Sciences Academy, a Hartford magnet school. Their proposal was a computer repair business catering to greater Hartford's Bosnian residents with services in their native language.
They will be honored with other winners of the Oppenheimer Funds/Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship contest. They also won $5,000.
