Car Hits Gas Line in Hartford

Police and firefighters were in the 200 block of Hamilton Street in Hartford for a gas leak.

Authorities say a car lost control and ended up striking a gas pipe outside a building on Hamilton Street.

That led to a gas leak which officials say was quickly shut off.

Roads in the immediate area have been blocked off while the accident is investigated, and no evacuations have been ordered.

Officials say the situation is under control.
