Cheshire Defendants Battling Each Other in Court

Whodunit? They're pointing their fingers at each other.

Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes, both accused in the 2007 home invasion in Cheshire that killed a mother and her two daughters, are battling against each other now.

Komisarjevsky, in a book published recently that details his version of events, blames Hayes.

Now, Komisarjevsky's attorney has filed a motion attempting to block Hayes from learning more about his communication with the book's author, Brian McDonald.

The two defendants have filed competing court filings, including one submitted Wednesday in New Haven Superior Court.

There was a closed door hearing Wednesday and afterword, the lawyers in the case did not talk because of a gag order.

The judge in the case did not make an immediate ruling.
