Former UConn basketball player and youth coach Robert Dulin served 18 months in prison for having a sexual relationship with a teenage female player. Now he's violated his probation by punching another patron at the 7 Seas Restaurant last month.

Milford Superior Court Judge Eddie Rodriguez Jr. says he will decide on punishment for the 51-year-old Dulin on Oct. 30 and Dulin could be ordered back to prison to finish serving a seven-year sentence for second-degree sexual assault.

Dulin, who played at UConn from 1979 to 1981, pleaded no contest two years ago to charges that he had an improper relationship with the teenage girl he coached on a youth basketball team.

The judge ruled that Dulin committed a breach of peace when he used obscene language and punched the patron. Any new criminal act in itself is a violation of probation.

His lawyer denied that his client had violated probation.
