Police are investigating the robbery of a Cold Stone Creamy in Orange.
It happened around 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 when a man walked into the Cold Stone Creamery at 297 Boston Post Road, displayed a knife and demanded money. An employee handed over an unknown amount of cash and fled, police said.
A police K-9 unit tracked the suspect to the back of a business at 285 Boston Post Road, at which point it lost the trail.
The suspect is described as a white man standing between 5’5” and 5’7” and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, green camouflage pants and dark-colored gloves.
Investigating to find out if the robber is also the suspect in the Oct. 6 robbery of a Subway restaurant at 116 Boston Post Road. Police said the suspects’ descriptions closely match.
Orange police are working with other police departments to investigate similar robberies and determine whether they are connected.
