Ouch! Getting school kids vaccinated for swine flu may help stop the spread of the disease.

Vaccines will be available for hte swine flu in Connecticut, starting next week.

The Connecticut Health Department advised children between the ages of two and four to receive the first 20,000 doses of the nasal mist vaccine.

Another 500,000 doses of nasal and injectible vaccines will be in the state by mid-October.

Connecticut has set up a swine flu hotline.  Starting Monday, operators will field calls from people concerned about the vaccine from 7am-7pm.

The toll free number for the hotline will be 1-800-830-9426.
