American Airlines Plane Outside Bradley Loses Power, Lands Safely

    A commercial aircraft minutes from landing at Bradley Airport lost power in one of its engines on Friday afternoon, the airport operations said.

    American Airlines' airbus 319 commercial aircraft with 133 people on board was less than eight minutes from landing at Bradley with loss of power to one engine. 

    Officials said the airplane landed safely with no impact to airport operations. 

    The plane had left Providene, Rhode Island and was heading to Charlotte, North Carolina.
