Officials said Frankie Resto turned himself in to police in Brooklyn, N.Y. Friday night.

Meriden Murder Suspect Now In Custody

The prime suspect in the fatal shooting of a Meriden convenience store owner has turned himself into police.

Police said Frankie Resto turned himself into NYPD in Brooklyn, N.Y. late Friday night and is being held on a $2 million bond.

According to police, efforts to extradite Resto back to Connecticut are moving forward.

Resto is charged with felony murder, first-degree robbery, criminal possession of a firearm and second-degree larceny.
