A crash closed both sides of the Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield near the Newington town line Wednesday.
The accident involved a vehicle that took out a utility pole near the intersection of Route 175 around 3:45 p.m., according to Wethersfield Police.
Wires across the road forced police to close both the northbound and southbound lanes of the Berlin Turnpike for about an hour. One lane in each direction reopened just before 4 p.m.
