Route 4 Reopens in Torrington After Crash

Route 4 (Goshen Road) has reopened in Torrington after a two-car head-on collision with entrapment.

At least one person was trapped in one of the vehicles, according to Litchfield County Dispatch. It is unknown whether anyone is injured and how many people were in the cars at the time of the crash.

The road was closed for several hours from Wright Road to Weed Road. Drivers were directed to detour onto Highland Avenue or Route 202 to avoid the area.
