Police are advising drivers to stay away from Route 179 by Case Street in Canton this morning after a car hit a pole around 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Connecticut Light & Power is working to replace a pole and do wire work. Repairs are expected to be completed by noon.
No one was injured in the crash.
The road is not entirely closed. Cars can get by if necessary.
