Crews Battle Naugatuck House Fire

Crews are battling a house fire in Naugatuck and are still searching for the dog that was inside when the flames broke out.

A home at 100 Conrad Street in Naugatuck caught fire Wednesday afternoon, and firefighters are at the scene working to douse the flames.

Fire officials from Beacon Falls, Oxford and Bethany are providing mutual aid. Authorities said no one was home when the fire broke out, but officials rescued a dog from inside the house.

No additional information was immediately available.
