Crews from Connecticut Water are working on fixing a water main break in Ellington and affected customers will not have water until later this afternoon.
The water main break is at Route 74, also known as Wappingwood Road, and the road will be closed in the area of Hayes Avenue. Police are at the scene, directing traffic.
Officials from Connecticut Water said it took awhile to find the area of the leak and water will not be restored until later Monday afternoon.
