Crews responded to two structure fires within hours of each other in Hartford on Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters were dispatched to 146 Lawrence Street around 12:48 p.m. after getting a report of a working basement fire.
Crews knocked down the fire and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
A few hours later, firefighers were called to another structure fire.
Officials said heavy fire was reported at 2335 Main Street.
According to fire officials, there was heavy damage to the first floor and minor damage to the second floor of an apartment building. The ten occupants were able to get themselves out safely and there were no injuries reported.
The cause of each fire is under investigation.
