Crews are responding to a large house fire on East Street in Morris.

Crews responded to Route 109/East Street in Morris after a house burst into flames Tuesday evening, according to Litchfield County Dispatch.

East Street was closed by Higbie Road while emergency crews doused the flames.

Authorities worked to put out the fire at 191 East Street on the Morris/Litchfield town line. Litchfield County Dispatch said the flames were under control as of 8 p.m. and the fire was out by 10 p.m.

Crews from Litchfield and Warren provided mutual aid, according to dispatch.

No injuries have been reported. It's unclear how significantly the house may have been damaged or whether anyone was home when the fire broke out.
