Two days after an 8-year old Ashford boy was killed by an Uzi he was handling at a gun show, charges could be coming in the case.

Authorities are investigating whether criminal charges should be filed in Christopher Bizilj's death, said the Hampden County District Attorney William Bennett on Tuesday.

So far, the D.A.'s office has not been able to find any law that would authorize a young child to possess or fire a machine gun.

Sunday's shooting happened at the Westfield, Massachusetts Sportsman's Club during a gun show.

Christopher Bizilj was with his father and brother at the gun show that was promoted as fun for the whole family.

The Bizilj family indicated they will be holding a private funeral for Christopher.
