Man Killed in Mansfield Motorcycle Crash, Brother Hurt

One dead, two injured when two motorcycles and a car collided Wednesday.

One man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Mansfield on Wednesday, police said, and his brother was injured in the same crash.

A Volvo 940 driven by Charles Donnelly Jr., 74, of Willington, collided with two motorcycles at the intersection of Route 32 and Route 44 around 4 p.m. according to a police report.

One of the motorcyclists, Troy DiClemente, 24, of South Glastonbury was pronounced dead at the scene.  The second motorcyclist, his brother, Nyle DiClemente, 22, suffered leg injuries and was flown by Lifestar helicopter to St. Francis Hospital.

Donnelly was taken by ambulance to Windham Hospital for evaluation.

State Police are investigating.
