A 53-year-old Derby man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 8 in Shelton on Monday night.
Police said Shawn Reynolds, 53, of Derby, was driving a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle and hit another vehicle when he pulled between two cars.
The crash was in the center lane of Route 8 North by exit 13 just before 4 p.m., according to state police.
Reynolds was thrown from his bike and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 4:13 p.m.
