Police Identify Hartford Homicide Victims

Two males were shot to death early Monday Morning.

Police Identify Hartford Homicide Victims

Hartford Police are investigating a double homicide on South Whitney Street at Capitol Avenue.

Hartford Police are investigating a double homicide that happened just after midnight on Monday.

Police responded to South Whitney Street at Capitol Avenue at 12:11 a.m. and found two men in a black Toyota Highlander suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police have identified the victims as Esmerito Perez-Mendez, 61, and Ramon Perez, 23, both of Hartford.

According to investigators, both men suffered single gunshot wounds.

They were transported to St. Francis Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
