A Dunkin' Donuts employee helped his employer keep the dough by closing the window on a would-be crook.

A would-be robber had the mask, gloves and gun but his attempt to rob a donut shop drive-through ended when the employee simply shut the window.

The guy walked up to the window of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 85 in Waterford Sunday night and tried to rob it, the Day of New London reports, when the quick-thinking employee got the upper handle.

After failing once, the guy also reached into the car of someone waiting for an order, and that person drove off, police told the Day.

The man fled in a waiting car, without cash, and probably without coffee and Munchkin’s.
