Eastern Connecticut State University is mourning the loss of a student from Glastonbury.
School officials said Elizabeth Hadfield passed away suddenly this week. Hadfield was a dean’s list student with a double major in elementary education and visual arts, and would have graduated in May.
“The University community is deeply saddened by this tragic loss. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her friends and faculty here at Eastern. Our prayers go out to her family and friends during this difficult time,” Vice President for Student Affairs Ken Bedini wrote in a letter to students.
