East Hartford police are searching a man suspected of sexual assault and are asking for the public’s help.
James Doherty, 28, of East Hartford, is wanted for first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, according to police.
Police started investigating in May and have a warrant for Doherty, who they said is aware of the warrant for his arrest and has refused to turn himself in to police.
Authorities believe is in the greater Hartford area and ask anyone with information on where Doherty is to call the East Hartford Police Department at 860-528-4401.
