Sygun Liebhart, the 71-year-old woman charged with prostitution, applied for a special type of probation in Superior Court Wednesday.
If she is accepted into the accelerated rehabilitation probation program and completes it successfully, her charge will be dropped. Her next court date is April 2, a judge will decide if she will be allowed to participate in the program.
Liebhart was arrested at a hotel room in Glastonbury after she placed an ad in the “escort section” of Backpage.com and made a deal to perform sexual acts with a man who turned out to be an undercover cop.
